Quaker Women from Clinton County, Ohio, and Wayne County, Indiana who were members of the Indiana Yearly Meeting of Anti-Slavery Friends created this quilt to strengthen their abolitionist bonds. Rebecca Harvey Hadley of Clinton County and her daughters signed this quilt and were related to many of the Indiana signers.
