Full Description
My expectation and objective for the week is that those present will acquire a solid grounding in clerking theory and skills.
I expect to cover topics such as the spiritual grounding of a Friends meeting for business, sense of the meeting, unity, conflict, how to guide the meeting in difficult situations, what to do if there's not unity, and practical clerking techniques.
There will be a 30 minute period of unprogrammed worship each morning. The rest of the time will be in a whole group setting, using course materials to stimulate discussion and sharing.
I do not have recommendations for advance reading, or requests for items to be brought.
I've lead this workshop previously, and with one day less we will do one day less work. At this time, I do not know what will be cut out.
