Workshops
Workshops offer Gathering attenders the opportunity to be immersed in a topic with other interested Quakers. Attenders stay in the same workshop throughout the week, helping form a mini-community within the Gathering.
Each workshop meets from 9:00-11:45 AM each weekday. Most workshops include worship or worship-sharing each day.
Part-time workshops: Workshops 5, 8, 9, 14, 19, 22, 24, 33, 35, 42 and 52 welcome part-time participation. Friends may join after the Monday session, subject to space limitations.
Extended Meeting for Worship: This year Extended Meeting for Worship is offered as workshop #8. Drop-in participation is welcome.
Silent Place: If you are seeking an alternative option during workshop time, the Gathering Worship Committee offers the Silent Place. Bring to it anything that helps deepen your quietness through meditation, prayer, reading or writing. The Silent Place is open throughout the Gathering.
Return March 15 for Long Descriptions: More detailed descriptions of workshops will be included with other workshop information by March 15.
