Spiritual Deepening Small Group Registration

Please complete the form below to register your small group for the Spiritual Deepening Program. This form should be filled out by the person who will serve as the small group leader.

Small group leaders are responsible for participating in the orientation webinar, choosing activities and leading each session for their small group, encouraging participant registration and payment, communicating with FGC about concerns and the scheduling of the culminating activity (closing the group), and completing a post-survey. Small groups can have multiple co-leaders.

After you register, you will receive an email with a sign-up sheet for registering your participants. Please pass this around during the planning process or at your first Spiritual Deepening session. This document also explains the process for registering co-leaders.

Spiritual Deepening Program Small Group Leader Registration

This registration form is for individuals who will be serving as small group leaders for an in-person Spiritual Deepening group.  Completing this form lets the Spiritual Deepening Program staff at Friends General Conference know that your small group is forming.  Only one leader per group should register using this form.

After you submit this form, you will receive instructions about accessing the Spiritual Deepening library, participating in training for small group leaders, and registering your participants and any co-leaders.

If you are a group participant but not the leader, or if you will be a co-leader for your small group, do not complete this form.  Your small group leader will share information about the registration process.

Payment

The suggested fee for participating in the Spiritual Deepening Program is $20/person.  This fee registers participants for the small group experience that will explore exercises and activities in three topic areas.  We are requesting the fee on a "Pay-as-Led" basis because we do not want there to be economic barriers to participation.  We also know that some Friends may feel led to pay more than the suggested $20.

This Pay-as-Led participation fee contributes to the development of the Spiritual Deepening program materials and the training and support for small group leaders.  The participation fee also allows FGC to continue to support, develop, and grow the Spiritual Deepening Program and to make it broadly available over time, with the ultimate goal of increasing the depth of Spirit and the strength of our Quaker communities.

If the meeting will be paying for the Spiritual Deepening participation fees from its budget, please choose the "meeting will send payment" option below.

Some groups choose to pass the hat and submit their payments together.  If you are paying for more than one person, please choose the "I'm paying for myself and others" option below.  If another participant will be paying on your behalf, please indicate "Someone else is paying on my behalf."

To submit your own participation fee, as you are led, choose "I'm paying for myself."

As part of your small group leader materials, you'll receive information to share with participants about registration and payment options.

In order to help protect your credit card information and help us avoid processing fees, we can only accept credit card payments over $5.

Why do we ask these questions?  FGC wants to make sure that our programs are inclusive and offer a positive and meaningful experience to as many participants as possible.  To help us understand who is participating in our programs and what they think, we ask some demographic questions.
