Experimenting with Sponsorships

This year we are trying something new. We invite Quaker organizations, small businesses and organizations in line with Quaker values to consider sponsoring FGC’s annual Gathering. This is a wonderful way to share your organization with Friends through a partnership with FGC. There are a variety of sponsorship levels to choose from. All levels allow FGC’s network of Friends to hear about your organization when we promote the Gathering and during the event.

Why Sponsorships?

As the costs of putting on the Gathering increase and attendance decreases, we understand that raising registration fees creates barriers for potential attendees. We are seeking other avenues for increasing income to help hold down registration fees. Event sponsorship is one way we can address this challenge.

Audience

FGC has been holding the annual Gathering for over 120 years. Attendance has varied from 550 – 2000 participants with average attendance currently at 1000 participants. Audience for this year’s Gathering:

1000 (expected) Quaker participants from across the USA.
20,000 reached via email and mail promotion.
50% of participants are 65+ years old. 20% are 50 – 64 years old.
Multiple generations of families attend together.
Many families and individuals have been attending the Gathering for decades.

Access

Partner table exhibit area will be open for the full gathering week.
Four plenary sessions.
Afternoon activity sessions, and much more.

Benefits

Targeted marketing exposure before (reaches 20,000 contacts) and during the event (about 1000 individuals).
