Meeting Times

We are having hybrid Meetings with simultaneous involvement of both Zoom participants and attenders who are masked at the Meetinghouse. (Please email bloomington.friends.website@gmail.com for Zoom links). 

Childcare is provided.

The meeting is handicapped accessible. All seekers are welcome.

Sunday (First Day)

  • 9:50 am Hymn singing
  • 10:30 am Meeting for worship
  • 10:45 am Sunday School (Children join in worship from 10:30-10:45.)
  • 11:30 am Fellowship after Meeting for Worship
  • 12:15 pm Often, there's a second hour activity. Check the calendar.

Wednesday (mid week meeting)

  • 9:00 am Meeting for worship
  • 9:30 am Fellowship after Meeting for Worship

Bloomington Friends’ expansion of in-person meeting for worship:

Bloomington Friends hold as a high value meeting in person for worship, while taking seriously the need for protecting everyone’s health and safety.  What follows are our current guidelines for worship and fellowship at the meetinghouse.  We continue to explore technological solutions for satisfactory hybrid gatherings.

Public

For first day meeting for worship, a guest book has been added to the participant list where newcomers and visitors may sign in.  Their information will then be added to our actual guest book kept at the meetinghouse.  

If you are new to our meeting and miss the announcement at the beginning of worship, please send a message to the "Guest Book" participate on Zoom and let us know you came!  We will also be excited to welcome you at the end of Meeting.

Public

Bloomington Friends Meeting has established a procedure for a Friend to call a Zoom meeting for worship when they feel a need. 

This discussion arose after a question was raised about how a meeting for worship could have been called in response to the events in Washington, DC, on January 6.

Donations to our Meeting in any amount are most welcome.

You can mail checks to:Treasurer, Bloomington Friends Meeting, P.O. Box 2303, Bloomington, IN 47402. Please indicate on the check whether you want to contribution to our General Fund or to our Building Fund.

The easiest way to make periodic donations from a bank account is to use their “Bill Pay” feature, which sends a pre-determined amount, usually monthly, from your account to the Meeting’s Post Office box.  Please contact bloomington.friends.website@gmail.com or Ted Emigh or Julie Chapin for setup assistance.
