Abingdon Friends Meeting (Independent)

Meeting Description:

Abingdon Friends meets in the Spirit House of the ElderSpirit Senior Co-Housing Community, located at 99 Trailview Drive near the beginning of the Virginia Creeper Trail. We are an un-programmed Meeting for Worship, we sit together in silence for an hour during which time people may be moved to speak. At the rise of Meeting we join hands and bid each other a “Good Morning” after which there a brief period of introductions, sharing and announcements.

EVERYONE is welcome to attend this Quaker Meeting for Worship. We welcome individuals from a wide range of religious traditions and practices, and are affirming of diverse genders, ethnicities, racial identification, sexual orientation and beliefs.
