Workshop Description

One 4-hour session: Saturday 2/8 (1-5pm Eastern / 10am-2pm Pacific) 
During this experiential workshop with staff from the Friends Committee on National Legislation and Friends Place, participants will learn about Bill Moyer and George Lakey’s “Four Roles of a Social Movement” framework and discuss what social change role they are called to take on in this time.

Through small group breakout discussions, participants will brainstorm ideas for creative, artistic approaches to advocacy and organizing in service a just and peaceful future. Participants will hear from FCNL and Friends Place staff about program opportunities to engage in, and will leave feeling hope, connection, inspiration to power and fuel their continued involvement in social change work.
